Sailing Courses and Learning

The South of Perth Yacht Club Sailing Academy operates a fully resourced, professional
Discover Sailing Centre providing a wide range of Yachting Australia educational boating experiences.

Our mission is to promote and develop the sport of sailing through our Junior and Youth Development Programs.  Whether your child wants to sail competitively or just for fun, the South of Perth Yacht Club can provide the perfect launch pad.

Our Sailing Academy courses are not only for kids.  We also run courses for adults and corporate groups.  If you have never tried sailing before we provide a great way and safe environment in which to learn, enjoy Perth’s beautiful waterways and meet new people.

Our resources include fleets of Optimist and Pacer dinghies, BW8 keelboats, support boats, accredited instructors and all the other necessary training equipment.  For more information call 9364 5844 or email
