SoPYC Member Survey - Twilight Sailing

  • The Club is aware of the gradual decline over the past few seasons in the number of members both taking part in twilight sailing and attending the Club on Wednesday evenings.

  • Whilst the loss of daylight saving and some windy conditions has obviously had an impact, we regularly see up to 40 boats taking part in RPYC twilights on Thursday evenings, whilst we average about 10 boats on Wednesday evenings. Why is this?

  • We are seeking your thoughts on the reasons why this decline in numbers has occurred, and your ideas on how we can improve the event and the evening to make it more attractive for you, your family, your guests and crew.

  • In short,, please tell us what the club needs to change or offer you in orer to get you to participate.
