SAILING

The sport of yachting is what South of Perth Yacht Club is all about. As Western Australia’s yachting club of choice, South of Perth Yacht Club is an active and successful yacht club which strongly encourages on-water competition and participation of members.

Our sailing fleets comprise boats from eight feet long children’s dinghies to ocean racing keelboats, sixty feet in length. Sailing is very much a family sport and active sailors at our club range in age from eight to eighty years, girls and boys, women and men, children and parents, grandparents and grandchildren. All are welcome!

Our sailing programs operate all year long, on Saturday and Wednesday afternoons and evenings for keelboats and Sundays for dinghies and centerboard yachts. We have extensive training and development programs in operation, particularly for children and younger sailors.

If you would like to know more, read on under the headings “Keelboats” or Centreboards”, or call us on 08 9364 5844.
