Our Club will be hosting a number of local and interstate guests for this extended Ladies Lunch.

View and praise the efforts of our volunteer SoPYC lady members on the “Wall of Recognition”.

All lady Club members are welcome to attend this special event.

XANTIPPE NIGHT TIME TRIAL

Calling all Time Triallers.... You are invited to our Xantippe Night Time Trial on Friday 9 March starting at 7:30pm.

A Nomination sheet will be available in the Foyer two weeks prior to the event.

Dinner and results will follow on the Quarterdeck with a late A la Carte Menu available. 

So come along, bring your family and friends and enjoy this unique time trialling experience.

WEDNESDAY 14 MARCH & FRIDAY 23 MARCH
EU-NA-MARA and YIMBALA EVENTS
Now’s the time to get your team together.
Both events are a long standing tradition in the Club and are a great opportunity for the Power Boaties and the Yachties to socialize and share some of their competitive spirit as well as gain an appreciation for each other’s sport.

The EU-NA-MARA will be held on the Wednesday evening Twilight on 14 March
(Power boat skippers helm yachts in a sailing event)

The YIMBALA will be held on Friday Evening 23 March
(Yacht Skippers drive a power boat in an evening time trial)

SATURDAY 17 MARCH
BILLY RUN TO ROTTNEST

Join the Party at the SoPYC Billy Run to Rottnest Island on Saturday 17 March 2012. 

Entry forms and Notice of Race will soon be available on the Club’s Website.

A, B & C fleets (Category 6) and Escorted Fleet (Category 7) will sail a fixed mark course from a Gage Roads start to a Thompsons Bay finish.  First warning signal will be at 1045 hrs. 

Entries into this year’s Billy Run close on Wednesday 14 March at 5:00pm.

Power and Cruising members are also most welcome.
